Print Services Team – Letting you know when you’re running low

Don’t you hate it when the toner cartridge runs out and you then have to log a job or call Uni Print to get another one?

Thanks to the Print Services team those days are now over.

A new system has been rolled out whereby a chip in the toner cartridge triggers a notification to Ricoh when the cartridge is running low and that a replacement is needed.

The alert then sets in motion the replacement toner order that is delivered to Griffith by Ricoh with the serial number, location and contact details for the Multi-function Device.

This means no more calls to the Library and IT Helpdesk or Uni Print, and plenty of extra cupboard space where you would have stored those backup cartridges.
