Griffith’s Friends of the Library were lucky enough to have renowned IT expert Dr Lev Gonick speak at a recent event held at the Ian Hanger Recital Hall on the South Bank campus.
Dr Gonick, Chief Information Officer at Case Western Reserve University, gave an inspired lecture on his efforts to engage with the Cleveland community to provide educational and health care support through IT.
Widely regarded as one of the world’s most influential IT professionals, Dr Gonick highlighted the benefits of collaboration, and the role universities play in delivering innovative technology solutions.
Following the lecture, guests enjoyed refreshments from Era Bistro and were also able to get some one-on-one time with Dr Gonick who was very generous with his time.
