New Features Launched on the Griffith app

The latest Griffith app update for Android and Apple devices was officially launched this week.

This version includes a variety of additions such as:

  • Email: a direct link to Griffith’s student email login page
  • Maps: new scalable maps that provide information on building locations for each campus, and a brand new augmented reality feature that gives the user a visual location for places of interest (Apple devices only)
  • Ask us: a mobile friendly interface where staff, students and future students can have their questions answered
  • Net Quota: staff and students now have up-to-date access to their monthly Internet usage and account details

These changes are in addition to improvements to the app’s performance and presentation, as well as minor bug fixes.

Since its release in February, the app has grown to become a staple of student life at Griffith.

Over 33 thousand users have downloaded the app in the first 6 months, with daily usage close to 4 thousand.

To see what all the hype is about, check out the Griffith Mobile website, or download the app from the App Store or Android’s Google Play.

Why is there access to student mail only on the app?
