Ada Lovelace Day – Inspiring women of the world

Ada Lovelace Day celebrates the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) fields around the world.

This year it will be held on Tuesday, 16 October, and women at Griffith are encouraged to recognise the females in their industry who have inspired them.

Ada Lovelace was an English mathematician and arguably the first computer programmer ever.

She continues to be celebrated as a trailblazer for women in STEM industries, and Tuesday will be a great day to acknowledge your own role model.

Post below and share who has been important to you throughout your career.

Visit the Ada Lovelace Day website for more information on the day.
