Future Learning Environments – How space impacts learningPosted: November 14, 2012
Jonas Nordquist, Director Medical Case Centre, Karolinska Institute, is visiting Griffith to talk about learning environments next month.
The next Friends of the Library event will provide insight into creating innovative physical learning environments. International guest speaker Jonas Nordquist, Director Medical Case Centre, Karolinska Institute, will be presenting information on his project ‘Future Learning Environments – how space impacts learning’.
One outcome of Nordquist’s project has seen the building/planning of both clinical and non-clinical learning environments – of which one has been nominated for ‘best interior of the year 2012’ by the Swedish Association of Architects. International collaborations on this project recently resulted in an interdisciplinary conference on learning environments at the Nobel Forum (home of the Nobel Prize, Physiology or Medicine) in June 2012.
