Griffith featured in The Guardian’s top uni libraries


  • Griffith Library has been featured in The Guardian’s top university libraries worldwide.

The new Library and Learning Commons at the Gold Coast campus made the cut, appearing alongside some of the world’s most innovative, uber-traditional and quirky university libraries.

Griffith is one of two Australian universities on the list, with libraries from across Europe, United Arab Emirates, America, Brazil and Mexico also featured.

The Guardian news article displays a selection of university libraries that reflect the shift in the way they are being used and designed, to cater for the change in student needs. Griffith’s new Learning Commons at the Gold Coast campus is a perfect reflection of this evolution, with dynamic environments and high-tech spaces designed to encourage student innovation and collaboration. Hear what students had to say about the new Gold Coast library.
