  • The project team has been busily deploying video phones across Griffith – 1,900 to date!

Standard Phone and Premium Phone being installed

Here’s an update on what the Unified Collaboration project team has been up to:

Over the last month or so the project team has deployed phones to the Willett Centre (N53) Level 2 (86 phones), as well as the entire South Bank campus (400+ phones) and a number of small refurbished areas (30+ phones).

They have also been assisting clients from the Griffith Business School, External Relations and NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Nursing Interventions to trial webinars to a wide variety of external participants, using the WebEx collaboration tool. WebEx will be available to all staff from early 2014. For more information, see Conferencing.

Moving forward With South Bank campus now complete, the project team will shift focus to Nathan campus. Video phones will be deployed across the campus from now until the end of June 2014, see Deployment schedule. Following the completion of the Nathan campus video phone deployment the project team will move on to the Gold Coast campus (July – October 2014), followed by Logan campus (October – November 2014) and Mt Gravatt campus (November 2014 – February 2015).
