Griffith’s first IT Plan publishedPosted: February 20, 2014
The Griffith IT Plan 2013 – 2017 is the first formal Information Technology Plan released by Griffith.
With the aim of ensuring that Griffith leverages the full potential of IT to deliver the University’s 2020 vision, the Griffith IT Plan seeks to realise the aspirations of the Griffith 2020 IT Strategic Directions through a number of strategies in support of five strategic themes:
- supporting Griffith in its move to online delivery
- retaining an engaging on campus student experience
- contributing to student retention
- extending our eResearch capability
- supporting business operations
Information Technologies (IT) are radically transforming the ways in which we communicate, collaborate, create, collect and share information, in all its forms. The IT Plan builds upon existing capability and services that have developed and matured over past years and will ensure that Griffith’s Information Technology services are sustainable in their delivery, whilst minimising impact on the environment.
