New features in Google DocsPosted: July 21, 2014
Google Docs makes collaborating easy as staff can contribute to projects in one centralised space.
New ‘Suggested Edits’ feature
Occasionally there is a need for collaborators to make suggestions, which authors can either accept or reject later. By using the new Suggested Edits function any user with commenting access can make suggested edits to the document. These edits will appear in the document along with a comment explaining the suggestions or changes. Those with higher permissions will then be able to accept or reject the suggested changes. Those with viewing access only will not be able to see any editing – until it has been accepted and finalised.
