And now for the latest news about Griffith Experts…

Griffith academics, you will be invited to review your Griffith Experts profile before it’s public launch in late October.

Griffith Experts will be released in a staged group approach for internal review by academic staff from 6 October 2015. Group Deans will communicate details about the staged group release shortly.

Replacing the Research Hub, Griffith Experts improves the discoverability of our academic excellence, and makes it easier for HDR candidates to find and engage potential supervisors. Griffith University was recognised globally for its innovation when it released the Griffith Research Hub in 2012.

For research active academics, Griffith Experts will replace your Research Hub profile. For all other academics, this will be the first time you have been provided a comprehensive University supported profile.

This expansion of the current system recognises that in addition to research, you make immense contributions to learning and teaching, which drives student experience and graduate outcomes.

Griffith Experts automatically updates a profile when information is changed or added in existing university systems. This means your profiles are current and rich, without duplicating time-consuming data entry tasks.

You will benefit from having a fresh, new look profile that can be personalised with external video and audio content from sources like YouTube and Vimeo.

Also, all the pieces you have published on The Conversation will automatically appear in your Expert profile.

This is an exciting step forward for the University, and will support our strategic goals of increasing engagement with industry, media and cross-institutional collaborators.

Drop-in sessions and help guides will be made available to assist you with the initial setup and ongoing management of your profile.
