Uni holidays is all about having a break but it also gives staff time to prepare, which is exactly what the Library Team have been doing.
They are ready and waiting for the new Semester 2 cohort with a range of helpful services that will help students transition easily into uni-life.
- Earlybird workshops
The much-loved Earlybird Workshops are back and the timetable can be viewed online. These workshops cover a range of topics that will help new and returning students soar into Semester 2 like a Wedge tail Eagle who’s just spotted their lunch!
- Orientation tours
These fifteen-minute tours run at each Griffith library and give students an opportunity to see what’s where and how it all works.
- Take a Google 360 tour
Students who miss the on-campus library tours now have access to the next best thing – online virtual tours.
- Market Days
Sometimes people just need to have a chat, which is why our Library Team will be hitting the road for each campus Market Day in Week 1. Students who come along will find out about all things IT and Library plus get some freebies and maybe even win the major prize.
- Training for Higher Degree Researchers
Our Library has something for everyone! HDR students can now view the Semester 2 workshop timetable online. Check it out and book in the dates that suit you!
